Entourage 2008 - WSE Exchange Configuration

1. From the Entourage Menu Items, Select Account Settings...

Alternative path: Go to the Tools menu, and select the Accounts... menu option

2. Click on the add icon (the badge image) on the menu bar and select Exchange...

3. In their respective fields in the Accounts dialog box:
• Enter your Email address
• Check the "My account is on an Exchange server" checkbox

4. Click the right-arrow button to continue

5. It takes awhile, you will see a progress thermometer "Detecting Exchange Server"

6. When prompted enter
• Enter your Account ID (domain\logon)
• Enter your Password
• Check the box to "Save password in my Mac OS keychain

7. Click the OK button

8. You will receive an Automatic Configuration Succeeded message.  

9. Click the right-arrow to continue

10. On the Verify and Complete Settings page, verify your name and email address in the respective fields

11. Click the right-arrow to continue

12. Click the Verify my Settings button

13. Once verified, click the right-arrow to continue

14. Verify Account ID is entered in the form Domain\Username (for example SOM\Username or Campus\Username).  This is not case sensitive.
15. Verify Domain field is blank.

16. Click "Configure Account Manually" and verify the below 3 checkboxes are selected and settings are correct. Click the OK button when complete

17. Enter a meaningful name in the Account name field
18. Check the Add this new e-mail address to your "Me"contact box
19. Click the Finish button.

20. Close the Accounts preferences window

21. Congratulations!! You are ready to start using Entourage.
