BlackBerry Wireless Access

Receive your mail@UCSF calendar, contacts and email wirelessly with OAAIS BlackBerry Services!

OAAIS BlackBerry services provides mobile access to email and calendaring information. Using a BlackBerry handheld PIM, customers with an OAAIS mail@UCSF account can receive e-mail and maintain their calendar and contacts.

For more information on BlackBerry visit: http://www.blackbery.net.

Here's how it works:

  1. OAAIS uses two service providers for BlackBerry services. The first is AT&T Wireless. AT&T's GPRS/GSM network supports advanced BlackBerry models.
    AT&T ordering information.

The other service provider we use is CDW. CDW sells the older BlackBerry models, the BlackBerry 857/957 series, and they operate on AT&T's cellular network.

The OAAIS Blackberry service will work with other service providers such as Verizon.

  2. To get an overview and the specifications of various BlackBerry models visit http://www.blackberry.net/products/handhelds/index.shtml.

  3. As soon as you receive your BlackBerry, submit a request to OAAIS Customer Support to establish your account.

  4. We will provide you the instructions on how to activate your BlackBerry wirelessly once your account has been established.

  5. If desired, OAAIS will provide custom set up for an hourly fee of $95 per hour.

  6. Each customer will be charged a one time fee of $80 for one BlackBerry Enterprise Server User License.

  7. There is a monthly service charge of $5.00 for ongoing support.

If you have specific questions or would like to be set up with a demo account, please contact Mark Bering.
